First appearances for quartet at Mestalla

Four players made their first appearance at Mestalla in the Trofeo Naranja game against AC Milan, including new first team loan recruit Omar Alderete.
The Paraguayan centre back has been a regular in preseason, and partnered Gabriel Paulista in the heart of the defence in the showcase game.
Two VCF Academy recruits also made their bow at the stadium: Goalkeeper Giorgi Mamardashvili played the full 90 minutes, including participating in the penalty shootout that eventually went in Valencia CF's favour. The Georgian shotstopper was brought in this summer from Lokomotiv Tbilisi.
Teenage midfielder Alessandro Burlamaqui worked tirelessly in the midfield, and the Peruvian was applauded off when he was substituted in the second half.
In addition to the starters, left back Jesús Vázquez came in for the final stretch of the match to replace José Luis Gayà. He had yet to feature at Mestalla, but made his debut at the ground where he has attended so many times as a fan in his long career to date at the VCF Academy.
